Nervi

In April 2023, I spent a week along the Ligurian coast of Italy.  On our first night in Italy (after a long day of travel from Indianapolis to New York to Milan), we spent the night in Nervi.  Nervi is on the eastern edge of Genoa and seems to be a great place to get away from the city for the day.  I like to look at Google Maps, and I spotted the pleasant looking harbor while looking for interesting places to visit.

Nervi sports a wonderful seaside path that winds along the coast and ends in the town.  A blue railing guards the edge along the path in some places.  I found a winding section of the railing that I thought made a nice leading line into a photo of the town:

We ended up spending the night in Nervi, and I would certainly consider a return.  It has a small, attractive beach area with restaurants.  There were several wonderful focaccerias as well.
