Puente Lagos

There’s a beautiful old bridge (puente) in Lagos de Moreno that’s very photogenic.  The bridge crosses a small river, which during my visit was barely flowing.  The bridge leads toward a large church, the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción.  When I arrived in Lagos, the bus dropped me on one side of the bridge.  I crossed it, and then dropped my bags at a nearby hotel.  The bridge was one reason I wanted to visit Lagos.  As night fell, I wandered back and took this photo of the bridge and church:

I liked this angle at the time, but realized later that you can’t see the other church tower.  Moving to the right wasn’t really possible, so this may be the best I could have done from this viewpoint.  I had intended to stay later into the blue hour, but the mosquitoes were horrible and I decided to move on.

I’ll have a lot more photos from Lagos de Moreno in future posts.

I like your “blue hour” stuff. Now if I could forget about cocktail hour and dinner, I could pursue some of those.;<)
