Dogs of Cholula

In April, I was in Cholula, Mexico for a long weekend.  This is well trodden territory for me.  I’ve taken hundreds of photos of the churches and buildings there.  When I’ve run out of landmarks to photograph, I like to walk the streets looking for interesting things. Usually I end up taking photos of doors, interesting cars, and sometimes dogs.  Street dogs are pretty common, but it’s rare for me to find a large group of them resting together, but that’s just what I found on one street in Cholula.  My record is six dogs in a row in Antigua, Guatemala.  There were four that afternoon in Cholula.  They also picked a photogenic location with a nice wall.

Cool picture. I love the symmetry. The mustard yellow wall works perfectly as a backdrop.

I’m glad you like it. Stuff like this always so unplanned, I’m just happy to be in the right place at the right time!
