Iglesia Hermano Pedro and Volcan Agua

The Iglesia Hermano Pedro is one of my favorite churches in Antigua, Guatemala.  I’ve taken many closeup photos of it over the years, but I hoped to get a longer distance photo with the volcano Agua looming behind it.  It seems that early morning is the best for this, as there is less haze or clouds obscuring the volcano, as well as fewer cars and trucks on the street.  On my most recent trip, I got up early one morning and took advantage of the clear air and quiet streets to take the photo below.

    thanks for these beautiful pictures of my country. Reminds me of when I used to visit my grandma from the US and we would make the trip to see the Hermano Pedro. My grandma is no longer with us but we still go when we visit Guatemala. I want to retire in Guatemala.
