A Trip to Vernazza

When I was in the planning stages of our summer trip to Italy, I knew I wanted to visit the Cinque Terre — five villages on the Ligurian coast that are renowned for their natural beauty.  Once we decided to make a base there for four days, we had to pick which town to stay in.  In the end, we picked Vernazza — mostly because of the beautiful photos found online!  We stayed four nights in an apartment found on Airbnb, and really enjoyed our time there.

While we did tour other villages (and I tried to get to those villages at night for photos), my mornings were spent in Vernazza.  The difference between the early hours — 5:30 am, when no one is out, and 2:00 in the afternoon — is so stark.  I enjoyed being able to get up and out early, and take morning photos.  Lots and lots of photos.  Just cutting down to a nice group to post here was hard.  Here they are, I hope you enjoy them:
