Downtown Indianapolis at Night

I’m taking a break this week from Mexico photos to highlight some photos of Indianapolis I took a couple of weeks ago.  I don’t normally take my camera out unless I’m traveling, but I decided to try to look at the city where I live like a tourist might — to be a tourist in my own town.

With that in mind, I set out on a clear night and drove from my home the 15 minutes to downtown Indianapolis, and set up near the Indiana State Museum to take some photos of that area.  This is a particularly good spot to capture the downtown skyline, and I had the perfect night for it.  I hope you enjoy these photos, and it will be back to Mexico next week.  I have a few more posts from my trip to Taxco, Puebla, Tepotzlan and Atlixco to share, plus I’ve just returned from Puerto Vallarta, so there will be lots of Mexico content to come.

This is really cool, I like how you put the tourist spin on your own city. I never would have thought Indianopolis of all places would have so many cool buildings and look so neat, cheers!
