Mérida’s Cemetery
In April 2014, I visited the Cementerio General in Mérida. It’s a massive place full of interesting monuments and markers. The cemetery is located south west of the Centro, off Calle 81. Click here for a map. While many of the markers are in good shape, some of the larger mausoleums are in decline. In addition, there are places where open containers have spilled bones out….creepy!
